The royal gendarmerie, in collaboration with the local authorities, arrested on Thursday in Ntireft (north of Dakhla), 29 irregular immigrants, including 25 Sub-Saharan African nationals and four Moroccans, aboard a small fishing boat, said a security source. This operation is part of coordination between the various security departments with a view to fighting against irregular immigration, the source pointed out, adding that several logistical equipment used in these operations, including two outboard motors and three fuel cans, were seized. Researches and investigations are still underway to identify all the people involved in this case, the source said.
