The Criminal Division of the Casablanca appeal court postponed on Tuesday, the trial of Nasser Zafzafi to the 7th of November, reports MAP news agency. During the hearing, the judge expelled Nasser Zafzafi from the courtroom because he protested against the presence of cameras. The remaining 32 detainees followed him leaving the courtroom. The Hirak leader refused to sit down and demanded that the two national TV channels, namely 2M and SNRT, be prevented from filming the audience. Zafzafi insisted that the two media platforms portray Hirak militants as separatist. In a statement to media, the prosecutor said that «the hearing was attended by all the accused, both those detained and others released on parole, who were supported by their lawyers». The court will hold a hearing tomorrow to consider the defense lawyers' request for granting the accused pre-trial release.
