Royal Armed Forces (FAR) drones bombed, on Tuesday, December 2, twice, vehicles belonging to the Polisario, which were in the locality of Mijek, located in the buffer zone east of the Sand Wall, erected by FAR. This announcement was made by media close to the Front, but without mentioning any human casualties. The same source affirms, on the other hand, that the individuals who were on board the all-terrain vehicles «are Mauritanian and Sahrawi gold miners». Mijek, located near the border with Mauritania, has already been struck by FAR drones, targeting armed members of the Polisario. Since November 13, 2020, the population who lived in Mijek, which the Polisario considered a «liberated territory», fled to the Tindouf camps. For the record, at least four Mauritanian gold miners were killed on Sunday near the town of Gleibat El Foula, in the buffer zone, approximately 150 km east of Dakhla, in the Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab region.
