A Ryanair plane, linking the UK to Morocco, was forced to land in Portugal, Monday, after the pilot fell ill. The flight heading to the Kingdom, made its emergency landing at the Faro International Airport, located west of the city of Faro in Portugal, Daily Mail reports. «This flight from Stansted to Morocco (5 Dec) diverted to Faro when one of the pilots became ill», Ryanair spokesperson said. «The aircraft landed normally, and passengers were transferred to an alternative aircraft operated by another crew before continuing to Morocco», the spokesperson added. This is not the first time that a plane, heading to Morocco from the UK diverts to Faro. In April, an easyJet flight linking London to Agadir made an emergency landing in Portugal after the pilot suffered an «indisposition». Then, the airline company said that the plane's First Officer required medical assistance.
