General Mohamed Berrid, Inspector General of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), is currently on an official visit to Saudi Arabia. However, due to subsequent political and military tensions between Rabat and Riyadh, Morocco decided to «adjust its participation», as explained by Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita in an interview with Al Jazeera in January 2019.
