Moroccan authorities announced on Wednesday a new set of measures targeting travelers coming from the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Bahrain. In a post on its Facebook page, the National Airports Office (ONDA) explained that, since May 5, «passengers from Abu Dhabi and Dubai (United Arab Emirates), Doha (Qatar) and Manama (Bahrain)» must «present a negative Covid-19 PCR test and go through a medical check-up and a rapid screening test on arrival», when entering Morocco. In this sense, «in the event of a positive test, the passengers will be quarantined in a designated hospital», ONDA added. For the record, the Moroccan authorities halted in April flights to and from India.
