Units of the Royal Armed Forces in charge of coastal surveillance intercepted a beached pirogue approximately 190 kilometers south of Dakhla on Sunday. The vessel carried 122 sub-Saharan migrants, including one deceased individual and one minor, according to a statement from the Royal Armed Forces' General Staff. The migrants, reportedly aiming to reach the Canary Islands, received necessary care before being transferred to the Royal Gendarmerie for standard administrative procedures.
