In Portugal, the tremor was predominantly felt in the southern Algarve region, where it caused no damage. The municipalities of Albufeira, Faro, Loulé, Olhão, and Silves experienced a maximum intensity of III. Residents took to social media to confirm the slight tremors they experienced. Across the border in Spain, the tremor made its presence known in six Andalusian provinces and the Campo Gibraltar area. Local media reported intensity levels of II and III in eight municipalities in Seville, three in Cadiz, three in Malaga, two in Huelva, one in Jaén, and the capital, Córdoba.
