Morocco's Minister of Energy, Mines and the Environment Aziz Rabbah defended, Wednesday, the normalization of diplomatic ties between the Kingdom and Israel. Invited to a TV show by 2M, the Justice and Development Party Minister did not rule out the possibility of going to Israel on an official visit to assume his responsibilities as a minister. «Me as Aziz Rabbah, I have nothing to do there», he said, stressing that his opinion did not change. Rabbah, who was the PJD's first minister to meet with an Israeli official, explained that «accountability requires commitment to state directives». «The Sahara issue has exhausted us. It is a strategic position that Moroccans have accepted through the American recognition» of Morocco's sovereignty over the Sahara, he added.
