Foreign minister Nasser Bourita met, Friday in Brussels, with High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini. The meeting is part of regular contacts with European officials regarding a solid multidimensional partnership, Bourita told MAP after the meeting which was attended by Morocco's Ambassador to the European Union Ahmed Réda Chami. This meeting was also an occasion to discuss other regional and international issues, he added. Bourita took part earlier in the International High-Level Conference on Sahel which brought together the Heads of State and Government of the European Union and the G5 Sahel countries (Burkina Faso, Chad, Mali, Mauritania, Niger), as well as representatives of international organizations and other countries concerned. This conference mobilized € 414 million in support of the G5 Sahel Joint Anti-Terrorism Force.
