Saudi Arabia's King Salmane bin Abdulaziz Al Saud arrived on Monday in a private vacation to Tangier, reports Saudi online newspaper Sabq. On his arrival at Ibn Battouta International airport, the King was greeted by Prime Minister, Saadeddine El Othmani, and Mohamed El Yakoubi, president of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region alongside a number of senior officials, indicates the same source. The Saudi king was accompanied by a delegation composed of several members of the Saudi royal family. The northern city has been prepared to host the Saudi sovereign for weeks most precisly in his residence located on shore near Cap Spartel. The king's visit to Morocco signifies the neutrality of Morocco regarding the Gulf countries' crisis.
