Moroccan authorities have arrested two Polish nationals in connection with a global synthetic drug trafficking network, following an international security operation in coordination with U.S. law enforcement. The two suspects, aged 33 and 43, were arrested in Tangier after an international arrest warrant was issued by the United States for their alleged involvement in trafficking synthetic fentanyl, a powerful opioid. According to a security source, the arrest followed a routine check of international wanted persons, which revealed the U.S. warrant. The suspects are currently in police custody as part of the extradition process, with American authorities informed of their arrest. The next step will be the formal submission of the extradition request.
