The prosecutor at the Rabat Court of First Instance has ordered the detention of the owner of the Ana Jit channel. This decision, made on Friday, follows the individual's use of a drone to film the Prince Moulay Abdallah Sports Complex. The accused entered the stadium and recorded footage of restricted areas undergoing repairs under the supervision of the Royal Moroccan Football Association (RMFA). After an interrogation, he was brought before a hearing, where the case was postponed until next Friday. He faces charges of filming without a license and illegal possession of a drone. Investigations revealed that the detainee had previously filmed the ongoing renovations at the sports complex using a drone similar to those employed by the Royal Gendarmerie and National Security services. He later returned to the site to document the progress and also spread inaccurate information about the new train station in the Riad district.
