On Saturday, the Tangier police apprehended three Chinese nationals suspected of breaching automated digital data processing systems and hacking phone calls, as reported by security sources. The arrests took place in the rural area of Gzenaya, near Tangier, where the suspects were caught in the act of infiltrating national telecommunications networks. They allegedly used electronic devices to reroute international calls to the local network, profiting from rate discrepancies, according to the source. During a search of the suspects' residence, authorities confiscated numerous desktop and laptop computers, a significant number of SIM cards, and various electronic and computer devices implicated in these illicit activities. The suspects are now under judicial investigation, supervised by the competent Public Prosecutor's Office, to uncover all details of the case and establish the full extent of their alleged criminal conduct.
