In a recent development, British police have located the two Moroccan schoolgirls who had been missing in London since January 28. According to information shared with Yabiladi by an anonymous source, the teenagers, aged 14 and 15, were found at a relative's place. This finding aligns with earlier suspicions of an attempted irregular migration, as reported by Yabiladi. Sources close to the investigation suggest that the disappearance was a premeditated act, orchestrated by networks linked to the Polisario Front in Europe, particularly in the UK, amid a backdrop of subversive mobilization. One of the teenagers hails from the Saharan provinces, a fact that bolsters theories of activist groups exploiting minors for political gains. This incident echoes similar cases from 2023, when four Moroccan students vanished in London. Two of those students are believed to still be under the sway of Polisario intermediaries, who are leveraging British asylum protocols. The girls, identified as Douae and Houda, were in London as part of a school exchange program organized by an independent company. They arrived on January 25 and were scheduled to return to Morocco on February 1. Their absence was noted after they failed to return to their hotel at Tavistock Place in central London. Chief Inspector Sarb Kaur, leading the investigation, had issued a public appeal emphasizing their vulnerability: «They are in a city and a country they do not know. The longer they remain missing, the more we worry about their well-being.»
