Police in Rabat arrested three taxi drivers and an app-based driver following the emergence of a shocking video. The footage shows the taxi drivers chasing the app-based driver and forcing his car off the road. The incident occurred on Thursday near Rabat's Prince Moulay Abdallah Complex, at the entrance to the highway towards Casablanca. It nearly caused serious traffic accidents. This is not the first time taxi drivers in Morocco and app-based drivers have clashed. Earlier in December in Casablanca, a taxi driver attacked a ride-hailing driver and the couple he was transporting, who turned out to be a Russian diplomat and his wife. The taxi driver was arrested and is currently on trial, with the Russian diplomat insisting on pressing charges.
