The event, marked by the presence of Ryad Mezzour, Minister of Trade and Industry, and Haluk Dortluoğlu, CEO of the BIM Group, illustrates the brand's determination to strengthen its strategic foothold in Morocco. With an investment of 150 million dirhams, this 16,000 m² infrastructure located in the Marrakech-Safi region aims to meet growing supply and distribution needs, while optimizing lead times and logistics costs. It will create almost 1,000 direct and indirect jobs, thereby consolidating the region's socio-economic development. «This project symbolizes the success of BIM's expansion in Morocco, while supporting local producers», emphasized Ryad Mezzour. Haluk Dortluoğlu, meanwhile, announced a three-year, billion dirham investment plan to build three more logistics platforms by 2027, expand the distribution network, and enhance employee skills. With 770 stores in 60 towns and over 5,000 employees, BIM is pursuing its hard discounter model, while emphasizing local sourcing.
