Moroccan police arrested, Thursday in Agadir, a man known to them for drug trafficking, after he stabbed three tourists. The man was arrested after he attacked the three tourists with a knife on a beach in the coastal city of Agadir. His attempt to escape by swimming was foiled by a Royal Gendarmerie maritime patrol. The victims of the incident are a British couple and a Belgian-Moroccan national, according to police sources. Two of the slightly injured tourists have been released from hospital, while the third person is still admitted there. According to initial investigations, the attacker was already convicted in 2020 for a drug and narcotics trafficking case. Arrested once again, he remains in police custody, under the supervision of the public prosecutor's office, to define the circumstances of his act.
