Six months after her country withdrew recognition of «SADR», the El Salvador Minister of Foreign Affairs Alexandra Hill Tinoco arrived in Morocco Wednesday for a two-day visit. In Rabat, the diplomat held talks with her counterpart Nasser Bourita before releasing a joint statement. «The two ministers stressed the importance of developing sectoral cooperation relations between the two countries and coordinating their efforts for this purpose», wrote MAP news agency. Morocco has decided to grant El Salvador «technical and financial support to develop sectoral cooperation which covers several areas of common interest» as set out in the Letter of Intent for the four-year cooperation between the Republic of El Salvador and the Kingdom of Morocco, read the joint statement. This roadmap is similar to the one adopted by Morocco in 2014, when Paraguay withdrew recognition of «SADR». In 2016, Rabat responded by granting Paraguay an urgent humanitarian aid of 1 million dollars. During the same year, Morocco allowed the import of Paraguay's meat and in 2018 it helped the country renovate three health units.
