Morocco's head of the government Saadeddine El Othmani reacted, Sunday, to the «peace breakfast», attended by a Moroccan representative, Donald Trump's senior advisor Jared Kushner and the vice-president of the Jerusalem Institute for Strategic Studies. In a meeting held in Agadir, El Othmani stressed that «Morocco refuses this process», as reported by the party's website. According to him, this position was «officially voiced, through messages and statements from His Majesty the King, by diplomatic channels and political figures that reject this process», referring to the Trump administration's Palestinian-Israeli peace plan. El Othmani believes that the King, in his capacity as «chairman of the Al Quds Committee would not accept these attempts, aiming at putting an end to the Palestinian cause». He recalled the messages, the sovereign addressed to the President of the United States Donald Trump, the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and other parties. For the record, the «breakfast», hosted by Eran Lerman, vice President of the Jerusalem Institute for Strategy and Security (JISS), and Moroccan publisher Ahmed Charai and attended by Kushner discussed the future of the peace plan. The latter was at the heart of a conference held, May, in Manama.
