Morocco's national carrier Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has signed a free-sale codeshare with the Royal Jordanian Airlines (JR), the company said in a communiqué on Monday. The agreement will allow RAM to put Royal Jordanian's carrier code on its flights linking Casablanca's Mohammed V International Airport to Amman's Queen Alia International Airport. The new agreement aims at «enhancing cooperation between the two flag carriers and improve passenger traffic by providing RJ customers convenient options to fly to/from Amman; they can also plan their trips to reach further destinations on RJ's global route network». For the record, RAM operates flights between Casablanca and Amman while Royal Jordanian suspended its service to the city in 2005 after it was first launched in 1974.
