American footwear manufacturing company New Balance has released a new colorful pair of sneakers, bearing the name of the North African Kingdom. «Moroccan Tile» is the name of the new range from New Balance's 997S. Inspired by Moroccan tile, the shoes are vivid and colorful just like so many traditional floors in the Kingdom, featuring deep purple and magenta, reports Hypebeast. «Balanced out with clean white leather overlays, the rich shades in the new «Moroccan Tile» colorway provide a vivid color scheme throughout the classic style», the same source said. Morocco has always been inspiring for international footwear companies. In May 2017, German multinational company that designs athletic footwear found inspiration in the magical garden Majorelle located in Marrakech. Photos of the classical pair of sneakers namely Blaze of Glory and Clyde have gone viral on the Internet after they both have been redesigned by adding details originally mimicking the beauty of the garden. The sportswear firm decided to give the famous pair of sneakers a Moroccan touch inspired by the traditional architecture, the vivid colors and zelij mosaics. The makeover gave the shoes tiling patterns and footbeds that resemble the walls of the garden.
