While visiting Morocco alongside her husband, Meghan Markle discovered a local shoe brand that can be considered now as one of the Duchess of Sussex's favorite footwear labels. Meeting social entrepreneurs, Monday in Rabat, the Princess stumbled upon the founders of Zyne, a Moroccan footwear brand created by designer Zineb Britel. Impressed by the brand's ability to employ local women, Meghan Markle chose two pairs of of Zyne's shoes to bring back with her to London. «One flat blue embellished pair and a statement kitten heel», wrote American fashion magazine Harper's Bazaar. The Moroccan brand celebrated the visit of Meghan Markle on its official account on Instagram writing : «It was such an honor to present our social project to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on their visit to Morocco and such a great experience alongside inspiring Moroccan social entrepreneurs». Indeed, Zyne is a brand that works to help women in the Kingdom. To produce these shoes, Zyne employs women, relying on their craftsmanship for their luxurious designs.
