A La Palma del Condado court has dismissed one of the complaints lodged by four Moroccan femal farm workers against their former boss in Almonte, reports Spanish news agency EFE. The complanit was closed after «the reported crimes have not been proven», the Andalusia High Court told the same source. Furthermore, EFE says that during the «investigation conducted» by the authorities the Moroccan women presented weak evidence that did not support their claims. However, the plantiff's lawyer Belen Luja told Yabiladi that the women «were not heard». The lawyer stressed that the information is «wrong and that the complaint is still ongoing». The Spanish lawyer added that «an appeal was lodged to make sure that the investigation is still conducted and that all parties would be heard». For the record, four Moroccan seasonal workers will be heard by the Moguer court after they filed a complaint.
