Made by the luxury Swiss watch manufacturer, the piece of jewelry is referenced as a «5980/1400G (watch) with 18K white gold case and bracelet, set with an impressive total of 893 diamonds weighing approximately 4.468 carats and 182 baguette-cut diamonds weighing 15.46 carats», says Insane Luxury Life. For the Instagram account, the watch worn by the Moroccan sovereign costs «$ 1 200 000» (MAD11 319 358 ). According to Christie's, a British auction house, the Patek Philippe watch's estimated price ranges between «CHF 500,000 and CHF 1 000 000» (between MAD 4 865 937 and MAD9 731 411). An identical watch to the Patek Philippe one was sold on May the 14th 2018 in an auction held at Geneva's Four Seasons hotel, reported an American platform called WatchPro. The latter described the watch as «the most recognizable wristwatch made by Patek Philippe». «The Nautilus designed by Gérald Genta and inspired by the shape of a ship's porthole, strikes the perfect balance between sporty, elegant and understated», wrote the same source indicating that «this exceptional Nautilus chronograph is believed to be the first and so far only example of a reference 5980/1400G-010 to appear at a public auction».
