The investigating judge in charge of terrorism cases at the Salé Appeal Court ordered on Monday to transfer six defendants accused of terror-related crimes to El Arjat local prison, after hearing them. The defendants, who were previously brought before the Attorney General in the same court, are charged of «forming a gang to commit terrorist acts, belonging to a terrorism organization and glorifying it,» said a judicial source. For the record, the Central Bureau of Judicial Investigations (BCIJ), dismantled on the 21st of February a terrorist cell composed of six members linked to «ISIS» and who were operating in the city of Tangier. Investigations revealed that the cell's members, led by an ex-convict in a terrorism case, were involved in assaults against several people in Detroit City, using knives and sticks, said the Interior Ministry in a statement. The first elements of the investigation showed that the arrested individuals, aged between 22 and 42 years old, have links with the terrorist network that supports ISIS, dismantled on the 1st of February in Tangier and Meknes and which planned attacks in the Kingdom.
