The funeral of Mohamed Ait Saïd, a peacekeeper from the Minusca, who died in the Central African Republic in an armed group attack, took place on Thursday in Ouarzazate. After Al Asr prayer the funeral procession moved to the Tigmi El Jadid cemetery where the body of the deceased was buried. His funeral was attended by members his family, friends and relatives, as well as several senior military and civilian figures. Similarly, the funeral of Master Corporal Zaid Kabouz, also killed in an attack in Central Africa also took place yesterday in Errachidia. Apart from his family and relatives, the Wali of the Daraa-Tafilalet region, governor of the province of Errachidia, and several senior military officials attended the funeral. Born in 1975, Master Corporal Zaid Kabouz, father of four children, joined the FAR contingent of Minusca in April. Mohamed Ait Saïd was born in 1969 in Douar Tigam in the province of Ouarzazate. They both died in an attack while escorting tank trucks to supply the town of Bangassou with water as a humanitarian action.
