Royal Air Maroc has set a new traffic record last weekend (29th and 30th of July 2017), the company said in a statement. 57,739 passengers flew with the company on 517 flights (round trip) during these two days. This influx has set an exceptional record at Mohammed V airport, where nearly 42,726 people took 350 flights of the Royal Air Maroc round trip. The Casablanca hub accounted for 74% of the company's traffic. «This achievement was made possible by the arrangements put by the company an d the hard work of the Royal Air Maroc's team who have made great efforts to manage the flights ensure a good punctuality rate and allow passengers to travel in the best possible conditions», said Abdelhamid Addou, CEO of Royal Air Maroc. The company also states that it has implemented operational measures to ensure regular flights. It has thus reinforced its staff in stopovers to assist, guide and inform passengers with special attention to people with reduced mobility and seniors, concludes the statement.
