Starting from September, Royal Air Maroc will launch two new flights every week linking Casablanca to Dakhla, reports the airline company in a communiqué. Thus, the group will reach 10 monthly flights that fly from Casablanca to southern city. 3.200 seats will be available every week of which 240 are dedicated to the business class. The trip costs MAD1.000 for economy class and MAD 2.000 for the business one. A flight will be scheduled daily at 21:30 from Casablanca to land at 23:50 in Dakhla. The second one will be available every Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 7:55, and will arrive at 10.15. From Dakhla, a flight will be available every day at 8am. The landing in Casablanca is scheduled at 10:10. Similarly, another one will be proposed on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 11:05, and will land around 13:15. This offer is part of an agreement signed by Royal Air Maroc and the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region, with the objective of contributing to the development of the economy and tourism sector of the region. For the record, the national network of the airline company now has 19 air routes. The number of passengers taking these flights rose to nearly 1 million in 2016, up 25% from 2014.
