Morocco's vibrant economy and youthful, ambitious workforce make it a prime destination for the expansion of American franchises, according to Marissa Scott, the US Consul General in Casablanca. Speaking on Wednesday at the opening of the Franchise Exhibition Morocco 2025, Scott emphasized the country's potential for American businesses. «Thanks to a stable and attractive investment climate, many American brands have already found success in Morocco», Scott remarked during the event, which is organized by the Moroccan Franchise Federation. She highlighted the opportunities for collaboration between American brands and Moroccan entrepreneurs, noting that such partnerships could lead to job creation and strengthen economic ties between the two nations. «With the growing demand for diverse products and services, the franchise model offers an effective platform for business development», Scott added. Scott also reaffirmed the US Mission in Morocco's commitment to supporting entrepreneurs and businesses aiming to expand, whether through franchising or other innovative models. Running from February 12 to 14, Franchise Exhibition Morocco 2025 will host over 100 exhibitors from various sectors, aiming to foster the creation and growth of new franchises. The exhibition was inaugurated in the presence of Minister of Industry and Trade Riad Mazour and Hassan Barakani, President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Casablanca-Settat, and is expected to draw around 10,000 visitors. This year's edition will include seminars and workshops led by experts, focusing on key topics such as strategies for franchise development, financing mechanisms, and opportunities within the African market.
