A van carrying 52 sub-Saharan migrants smashed into a barrier, Monday, at the border between Morocco and Ceuta, police sources told Spanish news agency EFE. Four of the passengers were transported to the hospital due to their injuries. The van broke through the metal gate of the Spanish side of the border «at full speed» at around 3:00 am on Monday. The van was carrying 34 men, 16 women and 2 children, including a five-month-old baby. The driver was a Moroccan citizen and was arrested by the police, a spokesman for the Spanish Interior Ministry's office in Ceuta told The Associated Press.
