432 Moroccan Jews have left the Kingdom for Israeli in the last eight years, according to data compiled by the Israel Central Bureau of Statistics. Data show that the Moroccan Jews who left the Kingdom to settle down in Israel come first in the region, where only 160 Jews left Tunisia. In a Facebook post published by Wednesday, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs revealed that 119 Yemeni Jews and 2 Algerian Jews left for Israel during the same period. Only one Jew left Qatar, Bahrain, Libya and Lebanon in the last eight years for Israel. The same source indicates that only 3,900 Jews are still living in Arab countries while 850,000 lived there during Second World War. According to Israeli figures, there are between 1,200 and 1,500 Jews living in Morocco.
