The funeral of the young Moroccan pilot Hind Barch, who died in the crash of her Cessna plane, was held Tuesday in Montreal in an atmosphere of great emotion. After the prayer of Dhuhr, the deceased's remains were buried in the Muslim cemetery in Laval, Quebec, in the presence of members of her family, the consul general of Morocco in Montreal, the representative of the Moroccan ambassador to Canada, members of the Moroccan and Muslim community and personalities from various backgrounds, as well as relatives and friends of the deceased. Student pilot Hind Barch (22 years old) died in a plane crash on September 4 in the Estrie region of Quebec. An investigation was opened by the Quebec police in collaboration with the Transportation Safety Board to clarify the circumstances of the accident.
