In a phone call, head of Hamas's political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh asked Moroccan Prime Minister Saadeddine El Othmani, Sunday, to help Palestine overcome the efforts made to change the status of Al-Quds, said the Islamic Resistance Movement in a communiqué made public Monday. Haniyeh thanked El Othmani for the efforts made by the Kingdom and the Moroccan people, supporting Palestine and protesting against the recent American decision. On the phone, the Hamas official briefed El Othmani on the details of the Palestinian struggle and the consequences of Donald Trump's move, says the same source. He also urged Morocco to «provide medical assistance for the Palestinians injured by the Israeli occupation forces during the Great March of Return», a six-week campaign composed of a series of protests launched at the Gaza Strip.
