The Moroccan passport is ranked 69th in the world according a report issued by the Arton Capital's Index. Based on the 2017 Global Passport Index, Moroccan nationals are granted visa-free access to 58 countries. According to Arton Capital, a global financial advisory firm specializing in investor programs for residence and citizenship, the Moroccan passport is placed 69th in the world. The report entitled «2017 Global Passport Index» and issued on the 25th of October, gives a detailed overview on the strength of the Kingdom's passport which is granted 58 points. The same score refers to the number of countries Moroccan national scan visit without a visa. Based on a list provided by the survey, Moroccan nationals are granted visa-free access to 28 countries in the world while they have to get a visa on arrival when visiting 27 other states. For the rest, they are required to get visa. Powerful passports Ranked 69, the kingdom shared the same position with Benin, Kyrgyzstan and Sao Tome. In the Maghreb region, the Moroccan passport is leading the list behind Tunisia first regionally and 64th globally. Meanwhile, Mauritania is ranked 71st before Algeria 80 while Libya at the bottom of the list (87th in the world). Globally, the list was topped by Syngapore (1st), whose nationals can enter 159 countries without visa. The Asian state was followed by Germany 2nd ,Sweden and South Korea 3rd, Denmark, Finland, Italy, France, Spain , Norway, Japan and the United Kingdom are 4th. At the bottom of the ranking, Syria comes 91st followed by Pakistan and Iraq 92nd and Afghanistan 93rd and last.
