For his part, Abdul Samad Nasser, a Moroccan journalist working for the Qatari TV channel Al Jazeera, tweeted saying that offering visa-free entrance to Moroccans was announced mainly by the Moroccan News Agency. No official statement has been released by the Qatari authorities to confirm or deny the information.
