Strong wind gusts, accompanied by dust flurries and snowfall, are expected on Monday and Tuesday in several Moroccan provinces, according to the Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM). Winds ranging from 75 to 85 km/h will affect the provinces of Youssoufia, Chichaoua, Essaouira, Marrakech, Berrechid, El Jadida, Rehamna, Safi, and Sidi Bennour between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. on Monday, the DGM stated in an orange alert bulletin. Additionally, snowfall of 5 to 20 cm is expected at altitudes above 1,900 meters from Monday at 6 p.m. to Tuesday at midnight in the provinces of Ouarzazate, Tinghir, Al Haouz, Azilal, Beni Mellal, Ifrane, and Midelt, the same source reported.
