The inspection devices, scanners, and gates at the entrances of Casablanca's Mohammed V airport have been relocated, effectively eliminating long queues. This reorganization is intended to streamline traffic flow and enhance the overall experience for arriving passengers, according to a press release from the National Airports Office (ONDA). Yabiladi has confirmed that these inspection devices were already moved on Wednesday morning. Thanks to the coordination of airport security authorities, including the Ministry of the Interior, the Direction Générale de la Sûreté Nationale (DGSN), and the Gendarmerie Royale, access to the airport is now faster and more efficient. The control system has been redesigned to balance operational efficiency with stringent safety standards. This initiative is part of the «Airports 2030» strategy, which seeks to optimize the passenger experience by modernizing infrastructure, enhancing security measures, and integrating new technologies. The new system will be gradually implemented at other airports across the Kingdom, beginning with Marrakech in the coming days. Menara Airport, which also struggled with long queues, has already undergone improvements to address these issues. ONDA assures that further measures will reinforce this initiative, aiming to position Moroccan airports as models of efficiency and quality service. Article modifié le 05/03/2025 à 13h15
