Sanchez acknowledged the contributions of rescue teams from Morocco, Portugal, and France, emphasizing their vital role in aiding affected areas. «In these challenging weeks that Spain has faced due to the storm, international and European solidarity has been remarkable», the Spanish leader stated in a message on social platform X. «All of Spain thanks you», he added. Following the floods, King Mohammed VI issued instructions for the Interior Minister to contact his Spanish counterpart, conveying Morocco's full readiness to deploy rescue teams and provide any necessary assistance to Spain in response to the disaster. An exceptional Moroccan convoy, including 24 vacuum-pump trucks and 70 operators, arrived in Spain on Wednesday to support relief efforts in the Valencia region, which was severely impacted by Storm Dana.
