Dozens of migrants have reached the coast of Ceuta, taking advantage of foggy conditions overnight, between Sunday and Monday. According to the city's local government, twelve of these migrants were minors and were admitted to reception centers in Ceuta. The authorities of both Morocco and Ceuta have collaborated to intercept migrants attempting to enter the autonomous city, as confirmed by the Command of the Civil Guard to Europa Press. This is not the first such incident this week. On Thursday alone, 47 children successfully swam to the city. While authorities in the city declined to provide figures for attempted entries and receptions, they acknowledged a «continuous trickle» of migrants. The facilities dedicated to the reception and care of children have the capacity to accommodate a maximum of 132 people. However, the current number of minors in the care of the Autonomous City exceeds 480, according to the agency. In August alone, over 220 people have been admitted, according to data presented by the City's president, Juan Vivas, last Friday.
