625 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 500,948. 4,449,047 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine so far, while 4,103,257 people have received the second. 501 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 487,414. 12 deaths were recorded in Morocco in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19-related deaths to 8,885. 5 of these deaths were recorded in Casablanca-Settat, 2 in Marrakech-Safi, 1 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 1 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, 1 in the Oriental, 1 in Fès-Meknes and 1 in Beni Mellal-Khénifra. The country has 4,649 active cases, including 442 in critical conditions. 20 of them are on ventilators. Casablanca-Settat recorded 444 infections: 345 in Casablanca, 24 in Nouaceur, 19 in Mohammedia, 17 in El Jadida, 13 in Berrechid, 13 in Settat, 7 in Mediouna and 4 in Benslimane. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra with 56 cases: 20 in Kénitra, 11 in Skhirat-Témara, 10 in Rabat, 9 in Salé, 4 in Sidi Kacem, 1 in Khemisset and 1 in Sidi Slimane. Marrakech-Safi follows with 36 cases: 31 in Marrakech, 2 in Kelaa des Sraghna, 1 in Essaouira, 1 in Rhamna and 1 in Safi. 22 infections were recorded in Souss-Massa: 12 in Inzegane-Ait Melloul, 7 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, 1 in Tiznit, 1 in Taroudant and 1 in Chtouka-Ait Baha. Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima confirmed 17 cases: 11 in Tangier-Assilah, 3 in Larache, 2 in Tetouan and 1 in M'diq-Fnideq. Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra recorded 14 new infections recorded in Laâyoune. 14 cases were recorded in the province of Oued Ed-Dahab (Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab), 10 in the Oriental region (5 in Oujda-Angad, 4 in Nador and 1 in Berkane) and 4 cases in Beni Mellal-Khénifra (2 in Khouribga and 2 in Beni Mellal). Drâa-Tafilalet confirmed 4 cases (2 in Errachidia and 2 in Ouarzazate), 3 infections in Guelmim-Oued Noun (2 in Sidi Ifni and 1 in Guelmim) and 1 infection in Taza (Fès-Meknes).
