1,240 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 458,865. 1,361 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 433,937. 23 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 7,911. 6 of these deaths were recorded in the region of Casablanca-Settat, 4 in Khénifra-Béni Mellal, 2 in Drâa-Tafilalet, 2 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma, 2 in the Oriental region, 2 in Souss-Massa, 2 in Marrakech-Safi, 2 in Laâyoune-Es Sakia El Hamra, 1 in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra and 1 in Fès-Meknes. The country has 17,017 active cases, including 975 in critical conditions. 83 of them are on ventilators. Casablanca-Settat recorded 429 cases: 336 in Casablanca, 39 in El Jadida, 25 in Nouaceur, 16 in Mohammedia, 6 in Settat, 3 in Berrechid, 3 in Benslimane and 1 in Médiouna. Next comes Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma with 268 infections in 24 hours: 78 in Tanger-Assilah, 74 in Tétouan, 62 in Larache, 36 in Al Hoceïma, 7 in M'diq-Fnidek, 7 in Al Fahs Anjra and 4 in Chefchaouen. Rabat-Salé-Kénitra follows with 135 cases: 42 in Salé, 39 in Kénitra, 33 in Skhirat-Témara, 13 in Rabat, 4 in Sidi Kacem, 3 in Sidi Slimane and 1 Khemisset. L'Oriental region confirmed 125 cases: 49 in Berkane, 32 in Nador, 28 in Oujda-Angad, 11 in Taourirt, 3 in Driouch and 2 in Guercif. Souss-Massa recorded 78 cases: 38 in Agadir Ida Ou Tanane, 16 in Inezgane Aït Melloul, 9 in Tiznit, 7 in Taroudant, 6 in Chtouka Aït Baha and 2 in Tata. Marrakech-Safi recorded 69 new cases: 37 in Marrakech, 14 in Essaouira, 6 in Rehamna, 5 in Safi, 3 in Kelâa des Sraghna, 3 in Youssoufia and 1 in Chichaoua. Fès-Meknes confirmed 46 in the last 24 hours: 25 in Fez, 7 in Meknes, 8 in Sefrou, 3 in El Hajeb, 2 in Taza and 1 in Taounate. In Drâa-Tafilalet, 24 cases were recorded: 11 in Errachidia, 6 in Zagora, 3 in Tinghir, 2 in Ouarzazate and 2 in Midelt. Beni Mellal-Khénifra confirmed 22 new infections: 9 in Khouribga, 5 in Khénifra, 4 in Fkih Bensalah, 2 in Beni Mellal and 2 in Azilal. Laâyoune-Es Sakia El Hamra confirmed 20 cases: 12 in Laâyoune, 5 in Tarfaya and 3 in Boujdour. Guelmim-Oued Noun confirmed 19 cases: 9 in Guelmim, 6 in Tan Tan and 4 in Sidi Ifni. Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab confirmed 5 cases, all in Oued-Ed Dahab.
