466 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 471,157. 532 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 449,160. 16 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 8,275. 9 of these deaths were recorded in the region of Casablanca-Settat, 2 in Marrakech-Safi, 2 in Guelmim-Oued Noun, 1 in the Oriental, 1 in Souss-Massa and 1 in Beni Mellal-Khénifra. The country has 13,722 active cases, including 714 in critical conditions. 53 of them are on ventilators. Casablanca-Settat comes first, with 144 cases: 125 in Casablanca, 12 in El Jadida, 3 in Benslimane, 2 in Médiouna, 1 in Mohammedia and 1 in Nouaceur. Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma follows with 87 infections: 39 in Tetouan, 20 in Al Hoceïma, 10 in Tanger-Assilah, 6 in Chefchaouen, 5 in M'diq-Fnidek, 5 in Larache and 2 in Ouezzane. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra follows with 76 cases: 36 in Kénitra, 12 in Skhirat-Témara, 11 in Salé, 8 in Rabat, 6 in Sidi Slimane, 2 in Sidi Kacem and 1 in Khemisset. The Oriental region recorded 55 cases: 19 in Oujda-Angad, 12 in Nador, 13 in Berkane, 10 in Driouch and 1 in Taourirt. Souss-Massa has 44 cases: 32 in Agadir Ida Ou Tanane, 6 in Tiznit, 4 in Inezgane Aït Melloul and 2 in Taroudant. Marrakech-Safi recorded 22 new cases: 10 in Safi, 8 in Marrakech and 4 in Essaouira. Laâyoune-Es Sakia El Hamra confirmed 14 cases:12 in Laâyoune and 2 in Boujdour. Fès-Meknes confirmed 7 cases: 2 in Meknes, 2 in Fez, 2 in Taza and 1 in Boulemane. Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab confirmed 5, all in Oued-Ed Dahab. Guelmim-Oued Noun confirmed 5 cases: 4 in Guelmim and 1 in Tan Tan In Drâa-Tafilalet, 14 cases were recorded: 2 in Errachidia and 2 in Tinghir. Beni Mellal-Khénifra confirmed 3 new infections: 2 in Fqih Bensalah and 1 in Khénifra and 1 in Beni Mellal.
