Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad Nasser Bourita held, on Thursday, a teleconference meeting with the French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean Yves Le Drian on a number of bilateral issues and matters of common interest. During this meeting, the two officials lauded the excellent relations between Rabat and Paris, underlining the will of King Mohammed VI and President Emmanuel Macron to consolidate the exceptional partnership between the two countries, through the permanent dialogue between the two leaders. Le Drian praised Morocco's exemplary management of the Covid-19 pandemic and renewed France's support for the strategic partnership between Morocco and the European Union (EU). France also reiterated its support for Morocco's serious and credible efforts as a provider of peace and stability and as a pole of development and growth. Bourita and Le Drian reaffirmed their willingness to continue consultations and coordinate their actions within multilateral and international bodies on regional and international issues of shared interest.
