Spanish Foreign Affairs Minister Josep Borrell and his Moroccan counterpart Nasser Bourita have agreed to improve cooperation when it comes to the migration crisis, referring to Morocco and Spain's «shared responsibility», says Europa Press. Josep Borrell participated in the World Policy Conference, held from the 26th to the 28th of October in Rabat, to discuss the main challenges of the international community. During his stay in Morocco, Borrell met on Saturday his Moroccan counterpart. The ministers discussed issues of common interest, promising «to further deepen the excellent relations between Spain and Morocco, especially in the strategic field», said the Spanish Foreign Ministry in a statement. They also agreed to continue promoting the partnership between the EU and Morocco and between Europe and Africa. The two ministers have called for cooperation, both bilaterally and multilaterally, on the «principle of shared responsibility».
