Fire broke, Monday, in a textile plant in Tangier. According to local online newspaper Tanja 24, the fire caused significant property loss in addition to the injury of one person. The fire would have destroyed 70% of the factory's total area. The plant, which belongs to a Moroccan investor, employs 400 workers. The fire had several gas cylinders to explode inside the plant. The guard of said industrial unit, injured during the fire, was rushed to the hospital for treatment. An investigation was opened by the competent authorities to elucidate the reasons for the outbreak of the fire, the same source concluded.
