he international Committee in support of the Palestinian people has lauded the decision of the Commander of the Faithful, King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, to allocate a financial grant to restore and develop some areas within the Al-Aqsa Holy Mosque, as well as its environment, and to send architects and craftsmen to preserve the authenticity of this Mosque. The Committee highlighted, in a statement, the Sovereign's continued interest and concern for Al-Quds Asharif, its sacredness and civilizational heritage, as well as its spiritual dimension for the three monotheistic religions. In addition, the Committee commended the continued support of the sovereign and the government and people of Morocco for the freedom of the Palestinian people, welcoming their noble stances in support of the resistance of the people of Al-Quds and the establishment of the independent state of Palestine, with Al-Quds Asharif as its capital. Based in Rabat, the international Committee in support of the Palestinian people is an offshoot of the Afro-Asian Peoples' Solidarity Organization.
