The Moroccan woman who is suspected of killing her lover in November 2017 is currently «standing trial» in the United Arab Emirates, reports GDN online quoting Khaleej Times. The woman is accused of stabbing her lover to death and cutting his corpse into three pieces. At the hearing, two witnesses said that a foul smell was coming out of the defendant's apartment, days after the body was discovered. «One of the women told the court that she didn't know the defendant as she had not seen her before, adding that she got a foul smell emanating from her house», the same source said. The second Filipina witness told the court that she informed the watchman about the awful smell. The latter told her that the Moroccan woman «had bought rotten fish which she had thrown in the garbage bin». Meanwhile, the Moroccan woman's lawyer Khalid bin Jumhoor Al Ahbabi said that his client stabbed the man to defend herself and that she did not plan to kill him.
