Germany, Spain, France, Morocco and Portugal signed a joint agreement on Wednesday in Brussels, to facilitate cross-country renewable electricity trade. Signed before the European Commission and the Moroccan Agency for Sustainable Energy (MASEN), the new document enables officials to overcome regulatory barriers. During the signing of this document, MASEN president Mustapha Bakkoury announced that he is committed to create a renewable electricity market between Morocco, Germany, Spain, France and Portugal. «This declaration will allow us to work together in order to create a suitable framework to exchange expertise in the renewable electricity sector», said Bakkoury.
