The Arab League lent Morocco on Wednesday its solidarity after it announced that it is cutting diplomatic relations with Iran, says MAP news agency. The League's spokesman Mahmoud Affifi expressed his solidarity with Morocco following its decision, denouncing Tehran's interference. Meanwhile, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) joined on Wednesday the bodies supporting the Kingdom. In a statement, it stressed that Iran should respect Morocco's sovereignty and avoid interfering in its domestic issues. The statement also recalls that the Council of Foreign Ministers had adopted several resolutions condemning the interference of certain countries in the affairs of member states. According to the same source, the council also asked those states not to support terrorist groups and movements, including the Lebanese militia Hezbollah.
